MSC 1935

This promotional map from Depression-era Massachusetts State College notes on the verso that over 1,300 students were enrolled in regular courses in 1935, a 53% increase over five years before and 80% over ten years. As a result of the strain on the facilities, the College began to limit freshman enrollment to about 300 per class. Map by A.K.
