Campus plan 1910
In 1910, the Boston-based architectural firm Warren H. Manning was contracted by the Massachusetts Agricultural College to draft a vision for the growth of campus. Their plans included dividing the campus into regions along functional lines and building an electric street railway around the circumference. None of their big ideas came to pass.
