Design and construction

The George N. Parks Minuteman Marching Band Building is an 21,000 square foot facility built to house the university's marching band. The facility connects to Grinnell Arena, which also serves as space for the marching band.

Landscape

To the south, a promenade links the Parks building with Dickinson Hall and the Recreation Center. To the north, a road separates the building from the Horse Barn and Blaisdell House.

Naming of the Building

The building was named after George N. Parks, the former director of the Minuteman Marching Band.
