Academic Overview
Currently, the University of Massachusetts Amherst consists of six college and three major schools. The colleges include the College of Education, College of Engineering, College of Humanities and Fine Arts, College of Natural Sciences, College of Nursing, and College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. The Schools include the Isenberg School of Management, the School of Public Health and Health Sciences, and the Stockbridge School of Agriculture. Additionally, there are two defunct colleges at the university, the College of Natural Resources and the Environment and the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.
