| Stockbridge House is a traditional colonial structure, characterized by symmetry of plan, twelve over twelve fenestration, and a steeply pitched roof with a long saltbox slope on the west side. Typical of its time and location, the building has a central door leading into a stair vestibule, a central chimney, and a hewn and pegged hardwood frame sheathed in clapboard. | Stockbridge House is a traditional colonial structure, characterized by symmetry of plan, twelve over twelve fenestration, and a steeply pitched roof with a long saltbox slope on the west side.
